[The camera fades back in on the commentary table with Michael Richardson and "Slick" Nicholas Chase.]

{commentary}
Nicholas Chase:
If you're just tuning in, you missed a heck of a setup by Beantown Bully and Dominator of Destruction.

Michael Richardson: That has to be one of the most despicable acts I've ever seen in CNWF Squared history. That was disgustingly devious.

Nicholas Chase: I really have to say that I just gained a little more respect for Dominator and Bully today. They showed me that they won't hessitate to let someone know they hate their guts. And they showed they aren't afraid to sink to new lows just to prove that point. _Best_ of all, the audience enjoyed it! I really thought they were going to start cheering for HeadHunter. I guess it was pretty much just the die hard Dominator fans that were cheering when it looked like he was siding in with HeadHunter.

Michael Richardson: I really can't say I enjoyed it. I never do take pleasure in seeing betrayal... which is one reason why I am against Lex Victor being in charge of the CNWF Squared.

Nicholas Chase: I don't know, Mike. You really should be less anal retentive sometimes.

Michael Richardson: I _hate_ that phrase!

Nicholas Chase:
Anal retentive?

Michael Richardson:
Yes. Please don't say it around me.

Nicholas Chase:
Okay... anal retentive man.

Michael Richardson:
Oooh! Ah... nevermind. Anyway, we're down to the last match on the show, and possibly the only one that could last a full five minutes. We only have about five minutes left on the show, and we have to try to finish under the full allotment. We have to get this one started.

{cut to shot of the ring}
Assassin, though he is quite large, doesn't seem to be much taller than the thinner, but well built "Iron Man" Jeff Beam. The referee, sensing that time is running out, calls for the bell.

"Iron Man" Jeff Beam vs Assassin

(One Fall Singles Match for the CNWF² Intercontinental Championship)

{ring}
Both wrestlers run up to eachother, but unlike most other wrestlers tonight, they actually locked up. Assassin, being the stronger of the two, was able to almost throw Jeff Beam to the canvas, but Beam quickly recovers and tries matching power with Assassin. He is able to almost get him down, but Assassin soon powers out of that. Finally, Beam quickly maneuvered Assassin into a Russian leg sweep, easily taking the big man down to the canvas. He now viciously locks on a reverse chinlock, yanking back on Assassin's head trying to make it hard for him to breathe.

Nicholas Chase:
Well, this match here is already looking more like what we're used to seeing.

Michael Richardson: Jeff Beam and Assassin are two of the most technically skilled big men of our sport...

Nicholas Chase: Can you _really_ count Beam as a big man? I mean yeah, he's tall, but he's skinny as a rail compared to Assassin. It just doesn't look right. I mean Beam's great... I'm a big fan of his... but I just have a hard time calling him a big man.

Michael Richardson: Well, I've always considered anyone six foot seven or over to be a big man no matter what the weight.

Nicholas Chase: Enough of this "big man" talk. People may get the wrong impression.

{ring}
Assassin somehow finds the strength to power his way out of the hold Beam locked him in. Beam, though he's visibly surprised that Assassin found a way out, doesn't waste any time in regrouping. He backs into the ropes and attempts to hit Assassin with some sort of maneuver, but whatever it was is never to be seen as Assassin hits Beam quite early with a solid clothesline. He then goes for a cover.

{commentary}
Michael Richardson:
One... nothing. Beam kicks out of that one with ease.

Nicholas Chase:
Of course! "Iron Man" is the man!

{ring}
Beam is staggering to his feet now, but about the time that he's back to his feet, he is hit by a hard hitting drop kick from Assassin. Beam takes this time to roll out of the ring to regroup. Assassin notices this and wastes no time to go to the ring apron and executes a suicide dive off of it, connecting perfectly once again with Jeff Beam.

{commentary}
Nicholas Chase:
I think Assassin wants this bad. He only has about three and a half minutes left to do it, though.

Michael Richardson: You think this one might end with a time limit draw?

Nicholas Chase:
It wouldn't suprise me, though I doubt it.

{cut to ringside shot}
Assassin is slow at getting up after the execution of that maneuver. Beam gets up just a little faster and takes the extra time he has to reach under the ring. He pulls out a dented up chair which many immediately recognize as the infamous "Excalibur". Many in the audience begin booing at this point though he hasn't done anything with it. Beam simply unfolds it, with some difficutly due to it's extensive deformation, and waits for Assassin to get up.

{commentary}
Michael Richardson:
What arrogance!

Nicholas Chase:
That's what I like about this guy! His belt is on the line, but that doesn't stop him from being cockier than ever.

{ringside}
Needless to say, Assassin doesn't take very kindly to Beam's display of arrogance so he charges Beam. Beam at the very last second slides out of the chair as Assassin leaps head first into the chair. Not that hitting the chair hurt, but ending up bent over the chair leaves him at Beam's command. Beam quickly kicks Assassin in the gut causing him to roll off the chair. Beam then picks up "Excalibur" and whacks Assassin solidly over the head. Sensing that the referee is about to count to ten, he rolls back into the ring. Assassin follows and reenters just in time.

{cut to shot of the ring}
Beam, seeing that Assassin made it back in just under the gun, walks up to him and pushes him. Assassin doesn't even budge, though that is enough to anger him. Assassin then pushes Beam down to the canvas, ushering forth cheers from the audience.

{commentary}
Michael Richardson:
Assassin looking to be taking control of this match once again. He is one tough wrestler.

Nicholas Chase: Don't get your hopes up too high, Mikey. I don't think things will go so well for him for long.

{cut to ringside shot}
"Godly" Ken Davison can be seen making his way to the ring. He stops short of entering it and looks on at the match. Beam is still getting up from the canvas so he hasn't noticed him yet. Assassin does notice him soon, however, and walks over to where Davison is and starts yelling at him from inside the ring. Davison just looks on with a cocky smile on his face as a mixture of cheering and booing issues from the surrounding audience.

{commentary}
Michael Richardson:
Assassin had better pay attention to Beam if he wants to win. It doesn't look like Davison plans on getting involved with this match.

Nicholas Chase: Maybe... maybe not. Remember that Davison only cares about Beam.

{cut to shot of the ring}
Beam gets back up to his feet and he finally notices Davison. He soon walks over and joins Assassin in yelling at Davison to get away. Davison still stands in front of the ring with the same cocky smile on his face, not answering their wishes... or even saying anything for that matter. Beam, seemingly frustrated, walks away from Davison. That doesn't last long, however, as Beam turns back around and quickly runs at Assassin from behind. Before Assassin knows what's happening, Beam rolls him up into a pinning position.

{commentary}
Nicholas Chase:
Look at that!

Michael Richardson:
One, two, three! He got Assassin!

Nicholas Chase:
Unbelievable! I don't think that's what Davison had in mind... but Beam took advantage of that little distraction.

{ring}
Beam's arm is being raised in victory as Assassin looks on in shock. He can't believe what just happened.

{ringside}
Ring Announcer:
And the winner and _still_ Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion... "Iron Man" Jeff Beam!

{arena}
The audience mostly boos as Beam is declared the winner of the match.
